Catholic Charities Background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Checks
To complete the background check, go to nashville.cmgconnect.org. After following the link, you will be brought to the registration page below (Figure 1).

Under “Register for a New Account,” fill out the Account Information (Figure 2) and create a unique username and password, then click “Next Step.”

Under “Register for a New Account,” fill out the Personal Information (Figure 3) and click “Next Step.”

The following 3 steps are especially important for us to receive the background check results. Under “Register for a New Account,” fill out the Affiliation Information as follows.
Under “Select the Primary Parish/School at which you Volunteer or Work” scroll down and select “Catholic Charities - Nashville TN” (Figure 4).

Under “Please Select a Role,” scroll down and select “Volunteer” (Figure 5).

Under “I participate as a/an,” select “Driver” and “Parish Volunteer.” Then click on the register button in the bottom right corner.

Once registered please complete the training “Safe Environment Training & Background Check” (Figure 7). This training is required for all volunteers.
If you will be driving in your role, you will also need to complete the training “Defensive Driving Curriculum & Motor Vehicle Report” (Figure 8).
