Volunteer receptionists are responsible for performing clerical tasks, to support the daily functioning of McGruder. We expect our volunteer receptionists to cover a half to full day of work (4-8 hours, with a lunch break for a full day) preferably once per week or more.

Duties include:

Greeting and directing clients who enter the building to the appropriate office/individual

Answering the phone and returning calls to clients

Tracking client services

Data Entry

Ensuring applicants are filling out applications completely and accurately. 

Dispensing and collecting follow up surveys to clients

Responding to client inquiries in a polite and timely manner

Do you have the time to help transport some of our older adult refugee clients to a weekly get together?

The Refugee Elders Program is designed to connect these clients with one another, get them engaged in some fun activities and provide them with the support they need.

We are looking for skilled, professional photographers who are willing to volunteer their time and talent to capture meaningful moments at Catholic Charities events throughout the year. Unidos in Banking is a program designed to prepare candidates for the financial industry.  We are not just teaching about banking, we are also preparing students with job readiness skills, including creating resumes and interviewing strategies.
