Catholic Charities Office Assistant

Volunteer Office Assistants are responsible for performing clerical tasks within the Catholic Charities multi-use office to support daily operations. We expect our volunteer receptionists to cover a half to full day of work (4-8 hours, with a lunch break for a full day) preferably once per week or more between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.

Duties can include:

• Greeting and directing clients who enter into the building to appropriate office/individual
• Answering the phone 
• Screening applicants for eligibility for services
• Responding to client inquiries in a polite and timely manner
• Assist with keeping the office clean and welcoming
