Loaves & Fishes provides hot meals and hospitality to our neighbors in need three days a week. Volunteers are essential to creating a welcoming, safe, and clean dining environment where guests feel respected and cared for.
Responsibilities may include:
- Wiping tables and light sweeping to maintain a clean and inviting dining space
- Assisting with the guest charging station for phones and devices
- Helping organize supplies and materials for meal service
- Tracking the number of meals served (directly speaking with guests)
- Preparing snack bags for distribution
- Supporting other small tasks as needed to ensure smooth meal service
Time Commitment:
- Shifts are 7:45am - 10:00am & 10:00am - 1p on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays
- Volunteers may serve once or on a regular schedule, depending on availability.
Qualifications:
- Friendly, reliable, and willing to pitch in where needed
- Comfortable working in a team setting with staff, volunteers, and guests
- Able to follow directions and maintain a welcoming, respectful environment
